Back in the Days...

I was reminicing about 80's California punk rock and came across an old favorite. Does anyone remember M.D.C.? The acronym changed with every album. Millions of Dead Cops, Millions of Damn Christians, More Dead Cops, Multi-Death Corporation, etc. They sprung out of Austin Texas then came to Cali with their raw sounds and direct irony-free political critiques. Some great song titles were:

• Church and State
• Guns for Nicaragua
• Deep in the Heart of Racist Amerikkka
• More Dead Cops
• My Family is a little wierd
• John Wayne was a Nazi
• Corporate Deathburger
• Violent Rednecks
